Eiffel

I created this section in order to provide a comprehensive base of Eiffel related resources.

Eiffel is a pure object-oriented language created more than 13 years ago by Bertrand Meyer. It is simple, but it fully supports multiple inheritance (no pitfalls as in C++), DBC (Design By Contract) with pre- and postconditions, other forms of assertions (class invariant and check instruction) and many more...

At the moment I don't have any Eiffel Starter Pages ready to publish. In the meantime please refer to Eiffel getting-started on Eiffel Liberty for a starting point.

The Eiffel Struggle '99

The results of The Eiffel Struggle '99 were published on 23-Dec-1999. Have a look at the results page on Eiffel-Liberty. The winners are Robert Switzer & et al with their Corba Implementation mico/E and Jean-Marc Jezequel with his Design Patterns with Contracts's code! Congratulations to all the winners and all contestants for their hard work. Again this competition was a great success!

The Eiffel Struggle '98

The results of The Eiffel Struggle '98 were published on 15-Dec-1998. Have a look at the results page on Eiffel-Liberty. The winner is Franck Arnaud with his Fenestra library! Congratulations to Franck and all contestants for making this competition a great success!
